1. Communications Officer / Senior Communications Officer
Job Title: Senior Communications Officer / Communications Officer
Working For: Robbie Moore MP (Keighley and Ilkley)
Location: Keighley & Ilkley or Westminster
Salary: In line with IPSA Pay Scales.

Robbie Moore MP is looking for a talented Communications Officer/Senior Communications Officer to join his Westminster team.
The successful candidate be responsible for managing Robbie’s external communications and social media presence.
This role is ideal for someone with strong creative instincts and a passion for digital content creation. You will have proven experience creating high impact digital content and growing social media channels.
The successful candidate will support Robbie's work in Parliament, working alongside the wider Constituency team based in Keighley and Ilkley.
The ideal candidate will be willing to work hard, learn from others, and be a good team player.
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead the management and development of the MP’s communications presence, including with local and national press.
- Create high-quality, targeted content across social media, web and email.
- Film and edit high impact video and graphics for social media using industry-standard tools (Adobe Suite, FinalCut or similar).
- Manage and grow the MP’s social media channels, ensuring content is platform-native and impactful.
- Oversee content for MP's website, newsletter, letters to residents and other communications as required
- Draft press releases and briefings on constituency and national issues.
- Build and maintain relationships with local media and stakeholders, liaise with local and national media, monitor media.
- Work closely with the wider team to support constituency activity, visits and announcements.
- Handle sensitive and politically complex issues with discretion and sound judgement.
- Preparing briefing notes ahead of meetings, constituency engagements and parliamentary activities.
- Liaising with the constituency office on local campaigns and projects.
Candidates should have the following skills and qualities:
- Strong experience in a creative, communications, PR, media or political role.
- Proven ability to create compelling content across digital platforms, particularly video.
- Experience filming and editing video content to a high standard.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to adapt tone for different audiences.
- Demonstrable experience managing and growing social media accounts, including use of analytics.
- Strong understanding of the media landscape, including local and national press.
- Highly organised, with the ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Creative, proactive and ideas-driven, with a strong eye for engaging content.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team.
- Good political judgement and awareness of current affairs.
- Sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative Party.
Desirable
- Experience using tools such as Adobe creative Suite, Photoshop or equivalent.
- Experience developing digital campaigns or audience growth strategies.
Additional Information
- The role may require occasional evening and weekend work.
- Some travel between Westminster and the constituency will be required

2. Constituency Assistant

Robbie Moore, Member of Parliament for Keighley and Ilkley is looking to recruit an experienced, well organised and politically aware Constituency Assistant to join his constituency office based in Keighley.
The successful candidate will support Robbie's work in in the constituency, working alongside a dynamic team based in the constituency and in the Westminster Office.
An ideal candidate will be familiar with the constituency and have a good knowledge of local issues and campaigns which Robbie is involved within, but this is not a vital requirement. A candidate will be willing to work hard, learn from others, and be a good team player.
Main duties include, but are not limited to:
- Deal with a large range of constituency queries, as well as assisting on more complex cases from members of the public by phone, email, social media or face to face.
- Undertaking research and gathering of all relevant information to assist with resolving of constituency casework and policy related work.
- Critically analyse patterns of enquiries from constituents and articulate the findings in reports and communication with the MP and other staff members.
- Monitor and update social media and the Member of Parliament’s website. Produce online graphics and video content, as well as publicising surgeries, general constituency communications and news alerts etc.
- Monitor media coverage, liaise with media, prepare press releases as required.
- Preparing media briefings.
- Undertake proactive and reactive communications with all media.
- Organise and coordinate events, surgeries, and constituency meetings, working alongside and assisting other members of the constituency team.
Candidates should have the following skills and qualities:
- Highly organised with the ability to prioritise and manage a busy workload.
- Awareness of central and local government structures, and other relevant services.
- Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong digital skills and understanding.
- Ability to work as part of a team and independently.
- Strong research and IT skills.
- A keen interest in politics and current affairs.
- Sympathetic to the aims and values of the Conservative Party.

- You must have a full, clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle.
- Some travel between Westminster and the constituency will be required
