Local MP Robbie Moore has praised organisers of Ilkley Pride 2024 following a launch event at the Clarke Foley Centre this week.

Speaking after the event, Mr Moore said:

“David Shaw MBE and his fantastic team of organisers have once again got a brilliant programme planned for 2024, and it was great to attend their Launch Event at the Clarke Foley last week. I have no doubt that Ilkley Pride 2024 on Saturday 29th June will be bigger and better than ever before!

Attitudes have quite rightly changed dramatically over the last 50 years, and so it is always great to see the whole of our community come together to support Ilkley Pride & Diversity. This year, Ilkley Pride are focusing on some extremely important projects for the community, including mental health support, hate crime prevention and youth support around LGBT+ issues.

So if you are interested in getting involved or even sponsoring the event, please do email David and his team at [email protected] or visit their website at https://ilkleypride.co.uk to find out more.”
