Local MP Robbie Moore has officially opened a new agricultural supplies store in Keighley following the expansion of Yorkshire-based firm Skipton Dairy Services.
The business has completed the purchase of Alwyn Pickles & Co Agricultural Supplies and has opened a new store at Worth Enterprise Park on Valley Road, bringing a wide range of farming and animal care products to the town.
The new Keighley site will supply dairy chemicals, animal health products, feed for all types of animals, equestrian products, workwear and PPE, fencing, gates, lubricants and hardware. The company says the aim is to provide essential farm and rural supplies at trade prices, accessible to everyone.
Skipton Dairy Services is a long-established Yorkshire business, known for its work as agricultural dairy engineers and GEA milking parlour specialists, as well as for supplying animal health and farming equipment across the region. The opening of the Keighley store marks a significant step in the company’s growth and investment in the local area.
The store officially opens to the public on Monday 8 December, with extended trade-price offers available throughout the opening month.
The business is based at Unit 1, Worth Enterprise Park, Valley Road, Keighley, BD21 4LN.
Robbie Moore MP said:
“This expansion brings a well-established local business into the heart of Keighley and provides farmers, smallholders and animal owners with access to essential supplies at competitive prices.
“It is always encouraging to see independent Yorkshire businesses investing and creating new opportunities locally.
A huge thank you to Richard and Chris for the invite I wish the whole team at Skipton Dairy Services every success as they begin this exciting new chapter in Keighley.”
