Keighley and Ilkley MP Robbie Moore has visited Stanbury Village School for a special assembly and question and answer session with pupils.
The local MP took a wide range of questions from pupils, who have recently been learning about British values. These included what life is like as an MP, the environment, speeding, and Mr Moore’s local priorities for Keighley and the wider area.
As well as meeting with the school’s new Headteacher, Mr Robinson, Mr Moore also met with pupils on the school council, and paid tribute to their eagerness to get involved and help others by representing their fellow pupils.
Commenting on the visit, Robbie Moore MP said:
“It was such a pleasure to visit the school and take some brilliant questions on a wide range of topics, relevant both to our local area and area and to the country as whole.
“I also really enjoyed chatting with the school council. It's always great to hear directly from our next generation – one of the best parts of the job, without doubt!
“A big thank you to Mr Robinson and the team for having me!”
