Following a brilliant campaign from our local Scouts, the Mayor of West Yorkshire has now RULED OUT a tourist tax on our local youth groups.
The Mayor has explicitly committed that "no organisations such as the Scouts or Guides will be affected by any future overnight visitor levy."
I will now be doing all I can to hold the Mayor to account and make sure this promise is turned into action.
