Distress for families as Utley cemetery is cleared of stillborn memorials

The families of stillborn babies in Utley have expressed concern at the clearance of memorials in the town’s cemetery. The ‘Sleeping Baby’ area of the cemetery was undergoing improvement works when some families noticed their memorials had been stripped from the graveyard and piled up nearby.

Emma, a Keighley resident who recently moved into the area from Bradford, has made an instant impact on her community by establishing a bookshare scheme on Facebook, which has become a great success. Books now dominate her flat and the group have expanded their community offering.

Robbie calls for reopening of play parks

Robbie Moore MP has led a call to have play parks reopened across his Keighley constituency. All UK play parks were closed in March due to the ongoing Covid crisis, but fresh guidance from the government allowed them to reopen from Saturday 4th July.
