Local MP has secured safe new railings on Main Road in Eastburn after it was revealed Bradford Council took "years" to act.

Residents in Eastburn complained to the Council over two years ago about the railings, raising concerns about pedestrian safety.

Local MP Robbie Moore, who pushed the Council for its replacement, said:

"You may remember that for well over a year I have been chasing Bradford Council to ask that they fix the railings along Main Road in Eastburn - which were dangerously unsafe and in desperate need of repair.

Well…after constant delay and stonewalling from the Council, I'm delighted to see new railings have finally been sorted.

But come on…it should not take Bradford multiple years to fix a problem like this.

Regardless, I'm glad to see the problem fixed at last.

No matter how big or small your issue, I'm always here to help."
