The choice for Keighley, Ilkley, Silsden and Worth Valley will be clear at the next election. I will support Boris Johnson to get Brexit done by 31st October, so we can get back to focussing on further funding schools, hospitals, and tackling crime.
Out and about in Ben Rhydding today speaking to residents about what matters most to them nationally and locally. This included the recent parking changes which have been implemented in the centre of Ilkley and the knock on impacts in Ben Rhydding.
The government have today announced a full rebuild of Airedale Hospital in what is being hailed as landmark day for Keighley & Ilkley and the wider area, with the hospital to be completed by no later than 2030.
Residents in Steeton and Silsden have been waiting far too long for this bridge to be built. It is high time Labour-run Bradford Council and West Yorkshire Combined Authority get their act together and stop delaying this project.
On 8 June we received confirmation from the government that Keighley will receive £33.6m as part of our Town Deal from our Conservative government to make Keighley an even better place to live as we recover from the COVID-19 pandemic.
